Below is the gear I’m currently using or used in past for my landscape photography and travel photography work. This seems to be evolving quite frequently, but I’ll try and keep this as up-to-date as possible.
Gear Do Matters To Make Your Vision In To Photograph
Camera Gear:
I am using canon for 100% of time. It’s not that I did not try other camera manufactures, however they are good even better in some features but usability with Canon is very smooth. Camera ergonomics is so intuitive and pleasant in hand. That is the only reason Canon Powershot camera then Canon DSLR, now Canon Mirrorless is in my everyday gear list. (Available on Amazon)
Lens:
After using camera and multiple lens over the years including rented lenses (which are not listed here), I can say that lens are most valuable gear among all. If I need to spend money on one time, it will be lens only. We have multiple choice when come to choose lens for our kit.
Of course, whole trinity range from 16-35mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm are good to have for any type of photographers but good to have for landscape photographers. Also, macro lens, prime lens (for portrait photography, street photography), zoom lens (for long distance short, wildlife photography, sports photography).
So choose lens wisely based on your niche or start with trinity lens.
Tripod:
Drone:
Drone is also good to have gear in your kit, however it’s not possible to fly everywhere. And you need photography skill first to get good photographs from best perspective shot from drone.
