Hello Hello 👋

🚀 Hope you all are doing well and ready for another exciting journey through this week’s newsletter! This time, I want to share my journey to the world of mirrorless cameras!

As you might know so far, I work a day job, but my passion lies in travel and photography. Last year, I made a significant change in my photography gear by switching to a mirrorless system – the Canon R6.

Let me share with you the unexpected surprises and lessons I’ve learned on this journey.

Canon R6 Moving to Mirrorless

The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.

⛵ The Sound of Silence: One of the first things I noticed after moving to mirrorless was the blissful silence when I pressed the shutter button. Unlike DSLRs, mirrorless cameras are whisper-quiet, making them ideal for capturing wildlife, street and serene moments without disturbing anyone.

⛵ Eye on the Prize: Focusing on the eye of my subjects has become a breeze with the R6’s impressive autofocus capabilities. It’s like my camera has a built-in “eye spy” feature, leaving me with more brainpower to focus on the creative side of photography.

⛵ Coated Like a Cake…or Not: Gone are the days of coming back from a photoshoot covered in mud and dust. With the tilting LCD screen, I can comfortably compose and autofocus while staying dry on the shore, even when photographing birds and wildlife.

Switching to mirrorless has truly been a game-changer, and it has opened up new possibilities for me as a photographer. Here is the list of my camera gear.

Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.

If you’ve had similar experiences or have different insights into the mirrorless format, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below the article.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

🚀 Here are the tools I found interesting last few week and still exploring

  1. Vectorizer.ai Convert your JPEG and PNG bitmaps to SVG vectors quickly and easily.
  2. VEED is an online video editing platform that helps users create professional-quality videos quickly and easily.
  3. Stillgram is an A.I. travel camera app for iPhone that magically removes background crowds from photos.

There are lot more to say like interesting app for your business, photos organiser etc. I will keep for next week 🙂

Until the next email, keep clicking those shutter buttons and let’s be mindful of our environment 🟢.

Cheers!!
