I wanted to share a little anecdote with you that I think you'll find quite interesting. Last weekend, I had a short trip to London to meet a few colleagues and travel around. The sights, the sounds, and the adventure were simply unforgettable.

However, as soon as I returned, a nasty fever hit me like a ton of bricks. As I lay in bed, thinking about all the tasks I needed to complete, I realized the significance of having a streamlined workflow and effective automation in place, especially when you're a one-person army, solopreneur, or part of a small team.

You know, I juggle around a full-time job, along with traveling, writing, editing, distribution, and monitoring - mostly all by myself. It can feel overwhelming at times, trust me.

However, over the years, I've developed various workflows for different aspects of my work, such as writing and photo editing.

Let me be clear: I'm not claiming that my workflow is the ultimate solution, but it works for me. I'm constantly iterating and incorporating new tech or tools as they become available in that market.

Take my blog writing process; it's a 13-step journey that starts from generating ideas or reflecting on my previous travel experience. From there, it involves outlining, researching keywords, crafting a title, writing the article, optimizing it for SEO, adding relevant images, and incorporating internal and external links. And that's not all—distribution is another crucial step.

Of course, I can't do all of this every single day. I break it down into manageable batches. The same goes for my social media content, except for Twitter and Pinterest, although I've been a bit lazy lately. I've got a batch of content scheduled for the next 3-4 weeks, mainly for Pinterest!

Oh, and let's not forget about photo-editing-related tasks such as sorting, rating, and editing photos after each trip. That's a whole different workflow in itself. It's a lot to handle, which is why automation tools which editing presets in this case, have become my saving grace.

I used many platforms like Later, Hootsuite, Zapier, Apple Calendar, and Notion to keep everything organized and running smoothly. I am currently on Apple Notes, reminders, calendar, Notion for blog workflow, and many more.

One simple way for you to start is by creating a time block task list, templatizing your work, creating a template for your team.

And you know what?
