Shinjuku Gyeon
This Shinjuku Gyeon famous park holds more than thousand cherry trees of dozen different varieties, with early and late blossoming. It has a huge area with variety of different gardens.
It also has dedicated walking pavements and peaceful scenery all around. Shinjuku Gyeon is tourist friendly and famous as a must visit spot during cherry blossom in Tokyo.
Cherry blossom trees are mainly located in English Garden area. And it is considered as popular and pleasant Ohanami picnic spot among Tokyo residents.
Park also has a Japanese Landscape Garden with ponds, islands and bridges, and a French Garden containing a greenhouse. However, Online Pre-booking was required to visit this park for Sakura viewing this year 2021 due to COVID restrictions.
Ueno Park
Ueno park is Another famous park with more than 1000 cherry trees. These trees create a lively and tranquil spot to enjoy hanami parties.
These trees covers a big pond named as Shinobazu Pond, which lead to path towards the National Museum. It one of the most visited cherry blossom spot in Tokyo during the season.
Being one of the most crowded tourist destination, it has many interesting places to pass the day such as Ueno Zoo, Kaneiji temple, Kiyomizu Kannon Temple, Toshogu shrine, Bentendo, Tokyo National Museum, National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, etc.

This place is true gem for landscape photographers. The dense curved branches of pink flowers falls over the fresh greenery and clear blue water.

Chidori-ga-fuchi beautiful pathway is just 5-minutes walk from Hanzomon station or Kudanshita station.

Yoyogi Park
This spacious park is situated next to famous Meiji Shrine. It is famous among both Japanese and foreigners for holding hanami parties during sakura season. It holds around 500 cherry trees mainly of Somei Yoshino variety.

There are many gates connecting to different nearby stations, JR Harajuku Station, Yoyogi Koen Station, and Meiji Jingumae Station.
Edogawa Park (My Recommendation for Best Cherry Blossom in Tokyo for Landscape Photographer)
Edogawa park located along the alley which runs parallel to the Kanda river between the Edogawabashi station and Komazuka Bridge is one of the beautiful cherry blossom spots in Tokyo.
You can enjoy a leisure walk along this river side and watch the branches of cherry trees covering the river. Visitors enjoy hanami parties by absorbing the warm weather, having snacks and alcohol with sitting mates and stools.
Nearly garden of Hotel Chinzanso is also famous with artistic view of monuments covered by different varieties of cherry blossom trees, truly giving away full Japanese vibes.
They also release sea of clouds several times a day in the garden with night illumination to create an extraordinary experience.
This park is 1 minute walk from Edogawabashi Station.
